Getting Around

Act. 01. PET practice (Write your final score and answer What was difficult for you about this task?
My score was 3 of 7 points. This activity was difficult for me, because I can not understand what they say when they speak English very fast.

My score was 3 of 5 points. For the same reason that the previous task, this activity was difficult for me.

Act 03.- Web Quest > Getting Around London

- Requirements to hire a bike in London.
Several companies hire bikes in good condition. Deposits of £100 to £200 are generally required (credit cards are accepted), regardless of rental period.

The public bicycle schemes of London are cheaper than the privates companies. It costs £2 to access the bikes for 24 hour bike access, and the first 30 minutes of each journey is free. Longer journeys cost £2 for each extra 30 minutes.

- What's Oyster?
If you say that the world is someone's oyster, you mean that they can do anything or go anywhere that they want to.
In the web page there is the term "Visitor Oyster card", which is a way to pay several services.

- Is there a train system?
Yes, there are train systems that are a great way to travel to and from Central London, such as Underground 
Trains or tube and the Overground Train. London's Overground train network to travel across the city and beyond the Tube. Most local train lines connect efficiently with the Tube and accept payment by Visitor Oyster card, Oyster card, Travelcard and contactless payment card.
