Post 10 : Evaluation of your Blogging Experience

Hello Friends !!

Today, I will talk about my Blogging Experience in this semester.

In general the blog was a good experience that allowed me to express my opinions and thoughts on different topics, such as my favorite food, my pets, my favorite sport, my future work, among other topics.

In every blog I could learn new words and expand my vocabulary. I know I need to learn more, but I think this semester, I improve a little more my writing skills, since I could write my ideas with less difficulty.

I liked the blog, but if possible in the future, I think it would be a good idea to include an application that allows us to have instant conversations with our partners, because it is closer to reality.

If I were to write another post, I would write about the most important people in my life, namely my parents, because I would like to express all the appreciation that I have for them. My parents have given me everything, especially, love, affection and understanding. My parents have helped me to get up when I have had difficult moments and I think that thank them for everything they have done for me, it would have been beautiful thing.

Post 9: "My favorite Subject this Semester"

Hello Friends!!
Today, I will talk about my favorite subject of this semester.

In my career I have five subjects, and two are my favorites, these are: Diagnostic and Simulation. These subjects are very difficult for me, but I love them, because these are much related with what I will do in the future when I become dentist.

I have many teachers in each of these subjects, who know a lot and teach us very well.

Diagnostic is a subject that is approached in the study of the different pathology of the oral cavity. This matter seeks to understand the causes of these diseases and knowing which is the better treatment for each of these diseases.  I believe that I love it, because I always have been interested in understanding how the human body works.

On the other hand, Simulation is a subject that is focused on the clinical techniques of my career.  In this semester, I learned a lot of things, for example carved a tooth, doing an inlay of metal and doing root canal treatment.  I ready enjoyed doing all that, however, in several opportunities, I did not feel good, because this subject also stressed me.

This year has been really hard for me and for this reason my expectations for next year are not clear, but I can say that I want to that will be a good year.  Probably the next year I will be in the clinic and that fills me a little afraid, because I do not feel fully prepared, because I think I need to learn much more.

Post 8 How Green Are You?

Hello friends!!!

Today I will talk about how I care for the environment. I know we can do many things to help the environment, but where we can learn it? On the internet, there are much information about this subject, also there are foundations that are responsible for teaching the people environmentally friendly practices.

I know that caring for the environment is incredibly important, for this reason, I try to help protect it. I recycling materials such as cardboard and paper. When I was a secondary school student, I made very beautiful notebooks with the papers of my notebook.

In addition to recycling, I think to walk or using bike are a great idea !!. I generally do not use the bike to transport me, because there is not exclusive cycle tracks and it is very dangerous, but I walk when I have to travel short distances, for example 2 km.

At present, I do not participate in any organization, because I do not have time, but I think participating in these is a nice experience. In the future I would like learn more about these organizations and about environmental care.

I try to reduce my carbon footprint making the following activities:

-Reducing electricity consumption

-Making responsible procurement

-Using the car to transport themselves only when I travel long distances

-Recycling and reusing materials, such as paper, paperboard and bottles.

I believe what are missing in our society is to understand the importance of caring for the environment. I think if we manage understand that the environment gives us life, we would care it much more.  In Santiago I consider we need to create exclusive streets for bicycles, and also we need to create green areas, because the trees give us life.

Post 7 : My Future Job

Hello Friends!!
Today, I will talk about how I imagine my future job. In this moment I am studying Odontology at the university , because I want to be a professional of the health and I also wish to help to others persons. When I get my tittle, I will be able to work in the following areas:
-Promotion, education and health prevention
-In clinical work
-Teaching at universities or institutes
-In the field of research
-In the field of forensic legal medicine

Personally, I would like teaching at universities and participate in researches that will generate fresh shared knowledge. I would like to be a professor of microbiology and being in the laboratory observing small microorganisms. I think I would love to be in the lab most of the day!!

Although I do not like going out, I would also like working outdoors, for example, doing fun activities of the promotion and prevention that motivate people to look after their health.

I think that I would like to travel, because this would allow me to know more about my surroundings. Traveling to other countries
and participate in scientific meetings would be a nice experience that someday I want to experience.

In the future, I am thinking of taking a major of my career, for example, endodontics, pediatric and oral rehabilitation. I could not choose one of these three major that I mentioned, because I like these three I believe that all the major of my career are great!! and, for this reason, I think studying one of them would make me very happy.

Actt. 02 - I think this tips are very good to save money. The tips I like the most was "Cook all food from scratch", because I believe it is funny, but I believe that it is not very effective to save money , because, unfortunately not everyone can do this.

The order of the tips about ways to save money from best to worst for me is:

Learn to Do It Yourself.
Reduce electric expenses
Shop clearance sales
Plan a weekly menu and stick to it.
Cook all food from scratch.
Shop for sale items at the grocery store
Plan ahead for seasonal gift giving.
Double check those medical bills.
Borrow instead of buy

Act. 03 My result was 15 of 30 questions correctly or 50%

Questions:

1. What do you think about compulsive spenders?

We think these people have a disease, which should be treated , because it affect to the people both physically and psychologically. It can occur for many different reasons, such as, low selfesteem, daily_life escapism, depression, and feeling lonely.

2. What's the most common problem a Dentists face along their career?

There are a lot of problems that the Dentists face along their career, for example, paying their expensive materials and instruments, studying very hard for different evaluations and sleeping very little, but the most common and important problem is dealing effectively to patients in a short period of time.

Post 6 : Summer plans

Hello my Friends!!,

The summer be very near, it is great !!. This year has been really hard, because I have studied a lot and I could not to relax. I believe that I need sleep and stroll to distract me. In this moment I wish that the year ended to spend the holidays with my family. 

I spend the summer holidays with my family every year and this year will not be distinct. When this university semester programs is finished, I plan to travel to south with my parents, where my grandparents live. 

When we are in the home of my grandparents, we are almost never outside, but instead we prefer to be at home. We want that this year will be different, for this reason, we have think that travel to the beach might be a great idea. I wish walk on the warm sands of the sea. I believe that my grandparents will be agreeing with it, because they has not been in the sea in a long time.

Other thing that I want to do is work collected blackberries and bilberries in the field. I believe that this activity is relaxing for me, because I can feel the countryside breeze on my face and I really appreciate this. I am happy when I collected a lot of this small fruits. 

I hope this holiday will be very good and I expect to have beautiful moments that I can keep in my memory and my heart.

      1. Which of the three skills is more challenging for you?

The activity that is more challenging for me is the “listening”. I believe that I need to practice more to develop this skill. I really want to learn, but I feel that it is extremely difficult to do for me. I hope that, in the future, I can do it, because I know that learning English is an important key to access opportunities at different points in our lives.

2. What task was the most difficult for you? Why?
I can say that the most difficult was the listening, for the reasons that I referred to answering the previous question. Also the activity of “vocabulary” was difficult for me, because I don’t know a lot of words.

3. What was the easiest? Why?
The easiest was the activity of “Reading, because I could understand the texts and sentences.
